Baseball To Hold Alumni Game On Saturday, Sept. 20
Outfielder Michael Gaeta ('14) will be one of the big bats hoping to lead the alumni from even numbered graduation years to victory in this year's alumni game.

Head baseball coach Mike Bartoletti announced on Wednesday that The University of Scranton baseball team will hold its annual alumni game on Saturday, Sept. 20, with activities beginning at 11 a.m.

The game will be held at Schautz Stadium, 1206 Prescott Ave., Dunmore, while the Royals’ home field, Connell Park, undergoes field maintenance. The game will feature alumni from odd numbered graduation years against the alumni from even numbered graduation years. Batting practice begins at 11 a.m., followed by the first pitch at noon.

Later that evening, an alumni social will be held at the Backyard Ale House, 523 Linden St., Scranton, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Food will be provided by the Alumni Society of The University of Scranton and a cash bar will be available.

Prior to the alumni game, the 2015 Royals will hold an intrasquad scrimmage.
