The Royals (19-3) advance to Friday’s second round where they will take on host and defending national champion Williams at 9:30 a.m.

The Royals totaled nine awards highlighted by a sweep of the major awards as Julia Frattaroli (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) was named the Player of the Year, Tatiana Klacko (Scranton, Pa./Scranton Prep) was honored as the Rookie of the Year, and Janice Winslow was tabbed as the Coach of the Year.

The Diplomats improve to 2-3 on the spring while the Royals will bring a 9-3 record back to Scranton after going 3-1 on their trip to Florida.
