Graduate Assistant

Description: The Graduate Assistant for Recreational Sports will assist the full-time recreational sports staff with the coordination and administration of a comprehensive Intramural Sports Program.  Respsonsibilities of the Graduate Assistant include: recruiting, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating all part-time intramural sport staff, coordinating the intramural sports calendar, assisting with the promotion and marketing of all intramural activities, and ensuring the implementation of an appropriate risk management plan.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and admission to a Graduate Program at The University of Scranton; demonstrated abilitiy to recruit, train, and supervise college student personnel; excellent written and oral communication skills; eperience within a campus recreation setting; and proficient computer skills.  CPR and First Aid certification is also required.
