The University of Scranton ranks fifth in the Landmark Conference Presidents' Trophy standings following the completion of the conference's winter sports championships.
The Royals have a 7.18 average following the Landmark Conference winter championships led by the women's basketball team's fourth straight conference title. Both of Scranton's men's and women's swimming & diving teams finished third at the Landmark Conference Championships while the men's basketball team earned the fourth seed in the conference playoffs.
Moravian (8.47) leads the Landmark Conference Presidents' Trophy standings, sitting ahead of Elizabethtown (8.42), Catholic (7.85), Susquehanna (7.72), and the Royals.
Juniata (5.03) is sixth while Drew (4.50) and Goucher (1.46) round out the standings.
The Presidents' Trophy is awarded based on a formula that rewards institutions for regular season conference standings as well as results in Landmark postseason competition. The total number of points each institution earns is divided by the number of Landmark sports sponsored to determine the average.
