Scranton took a 3-0 lead in the first inning of Sunday's first game and added a run in the home third to stake out a four-run advantage.

Juniata pulled to within a run in the top of the fifth, but the Royals countered with three runs of their own in the bottom of the fifth to claim a 7-3 lead.

Two runs by the Eagles in the top of the sixth made it a 7-5 ballgame, but Scranton would prevail as both teams scored a single run in their final trips to the plate.

Junior Kevin Haag (Ossining, N.Y./Ossining/Bridgton Academy (Maine)) went 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, two RBI, and two runs scored while sophomore Connor Harding (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored.
