For the second straight year, The University of Scranton will host the Landmark Conference baseball championships at Volpe Field in the Quinn Athletics Campus this coming weekend. The double-elimination tournament, which features the top-four teams in the conference standings, commences with a pair of games on Friday and will culminate with a conference champion being crowned on Sunday.
The action starts with a pair of games on Friday. Top-seeded Susquehanna (20-16) will take on fourth-seeded Scranton (17-20) at 3:30 p.m. followed by a matchup between second-seeded Moravian (20-19-1) and third-seeded Catholic (26-14) at 7:00 p.m.

Game #1 – No. 4 Scranton vs. No. 1 Susquehanna – 3:30 p.m.
Game #2 – No. 3 Catholic vs. No. 2 Moravian – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 11
Game #3 – Loser Game #1 vs. Loser Game #2 – 11:00 a.m.
Game #4 – Winner Game #1 vs. Winner Game #2 – 2:30 p.m.
Game #5 – Winner Game #3 vs. Loser Game #4 – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 12
Game #6 – Winner Game #4 vs. Winner Game #5 – 10:30 a.m.
Game #7 – If Necessary – immediately following the completion of Game #6
Note: Games shall start at their published time or 30 minutes following the completion of the previous game, whichever is later.
The Royals earned a spot in the playoffs by finishing 9-9 in Landmark Conference play. They are making their sixth appearance in the Landmark Conference postseason and second straight trip to the conference championships. The Royals have finished as the Landmark Conference runner-up four times including last spring, reaching the championship game in 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2018.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and youths. All students, faculty and staff from Landmark Conference institutions with school ID with be admitted free of charge. Admission will be charged each day. Pets are also not allowed at the Quinn Athletics Campus.
