Freshman goalie Jenna Cyr (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) of the University of Scranton field hockey team opened her collegiate career on Friday against Muhlenberg with an impressive effort in a 2-1 win for the Royals over the nationally-ranked Mules.
For her efforts, Cyr was named the Landmark Conference's Field Hockey Defensive Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
