The reigning Landmark Conference champion University of Scranton field hockey team will host a Summer ID Clinic at Weiss Field at the Quinn Athletics Campus on Sunday, June 14 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The clinic is intended for experienced field hockey players entering grades 9-12 and incoming college freshmen who are interested in playing collegiate field hockey. It will also provide a unique opportunity to get to know current players while also being instructed by the coaches of The University of Scranton Field Hockey team.
Cost of the clinic is $80 and includes a t-shirt. The clinic will be held rain or shine and players are reminded to bring field hockey clothes, mouth guard, stick, shin guards, water bottle, and cleats, turfs, or sneakers. Goalkeepers must also bring their own equipment.
The clinic will feature technical training, goalie specific training as well as small-sided and full field games. There is also an optional campus tour that will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the clinic.
