Team PA Takes Men's Basketball Alumni Game

Scranton welcomed back 18 former players for Saturday's alumni game which was won by Team PA, 75-67.

The University of Scranton men's basketball team held its alumni game on Saturday prior to the Royals' Landmark Conference doubleheader against Juniata in the John Long Center.

18 former Scranton players returned the hardwood in the Long Center for a tightly-contested matchup between Team PA and Team Other States.

When the final buzzer sounded, Team PA was victorious, 75-67, as the team of Keystone natives was led by game MVP Ross Danzig '15, along with Matt Swaback '12, who also put together a strong game.

On the victorious Team PA was Danzig, Swaback, Ethan Danzig, PJ Kelly, Drew Schankweiler, Patrick Calvey, Bill Burke, Mike Fee, and Tim Lavelle.

Meanwhile, Team Other States featured Kevin Walsh, Jack Connelly, Brendan Boken, Chris McCullough, Tommy Morgan, John Vitkus, Brian Farrell, Mitch Cross and Mike Barr.
