Biography

Bio:  Three-year letterman...has played in42 games in his career and holds a goals against average of 9.13,with a win-loss record of 22-18, along with 352 saves and a savepercentage of .519...Royals' all-time leader in goals againstaverage for goalies who have played at least 500 minutes...is alsofourth in saves and saves per game (8.38) and fifth in savepercentage (.519) in Scranton history...played against his olderbrother, Jon, a midfielder at Drew University, in 2008 and2009.

Junior Year (2010): Started the first eightgames of the season and played in 10 overall...posted a 2-6win-loss record and finished with 70 saves, a .479 save percentage,and a 9.26 goals against average...one of four team captains...madea season-high 13 saves in a 12-8 loss to R.I.T. on March 10 atFitzpatrick Field and had 11 in his next game, a 9-6 loss toHartwick College in Oneonta, New York, on March 13...finishedeighth in goals against average and 10th in saves per game (7.0)and save percentage in the final Landmark Conference statisticalrankings.

Sophomore Year (2009):  Started all 16games...played over 820 minutes and finishing with a 9-7 overallrecord...made 145 saves, including a pair of career-high 17-saveperformances in losses to then top-ranked and 8-time NCAA championSalisbury University (February 15) and Ithaca College (February28), and posted a goals against average of 10.00...also finishedwith a .514 save percentage, the ninth highest single-season totalin Scranton history...held 10 opponents to less than 10 goals...wasnamed the Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Week for theperiod ending March 1; was honored for making a career-tying 17saves in the loss to nationally-ranked Ithaca...Freshman Year(2008):  Took over the starting goalkeeping duties andestablished a new Scranton single-season record (for goalies whohave played at least 300 minutes) with a goals against average of8.18...made 10-or-more saves in a game five times, including aseason-high 14 against Drew (April 26), and finished the seasonwith 137...the anchor of a defense unit that held 13 of 16opponents under 10 goals...finished fourth in goals against averageand fifth in saves per game (8.56) and save percentage (.548) inthe final Landmark Conference statistical rankings.
