Senior Steven Lambrinakos (Stamford, Conn./Trinity) has been named to the Empire 8 Conference Men's Golf Sportsman of the Year Team, according to a release from the conference office.
Empire 8 emphasizes that "competing with honor and integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. Student-athletes named to the Sportsman of the Year Team have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportsmen.

He saved his best golf for the end of the season, averaging 78.5 over his final four rounds, including a career-low 75 in a tri-match against Wilkes and King's at Huntsville Golf Club on April 20.
