Men's Golf Opens Fall Season With 307-341 Victory At King's

HANOVER, Pa. – Senior Brett Lubba (Pompton Plains, N.J./Pequannock Township) shot a 3-over-par 74 to earn medalist honors as The University of Scranton men's golf team opened its 2018-19 campaign with a 307-341 win over King's on Wednesday afternoon at Wyoming Valley Country Club.

Lubba was one of four Royals to break 80 on the day. Freshman Nicholas Campanelli (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) was a shot behind Lubba with a 75. Senior Erik Ridley (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) shot 77 and senior Andrew Milisits (Northampton, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) finished with 79.

The men's golf team will be back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 11, when the Royals host King's and Keystone at Glenmaura National Golf Club at 1 p.m.
