MOOSIC, Pa. – The University of Scranton men's golf team remained undefeated on the 2018-19 season on Tuesday, moving to 12-0 with a 323-387 victory over Keystone at the Glenmaura National Golf Club.
The Royals swept the top six finishers in the 12-golfer match on the par-71, 6,308-yard course layout.
Senior Andrew Milisits (Northampton, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) was the individual medalist with a season-best round of 79, finishing eight over par and one stroke ahead of freshman Nicholas Campanelli (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional), who claimed a runner-up finish by carding an 80.
Senior Erik Ridley (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) finished one shot in back of Campanelli, placing third after checking in with an 81 while sophomore Thomas McAuliffe's (Reisterstown, Md./Loyola-Blakefield) round of 83 was good for fourth place overall.
Junior Calvin Ralph (Hillsdale, N.J./Pascack Valley) completed the course in 85 strokes to finish fifth while senior Griffin Lubba (Pompton Plains, N.J./Pequannock Township) scored a 90 to place sixth in the field.
Keystone, which fell to 1-3 on the season with the loss, was led by Nick Lisowski's round of 93 on the day.
Scranton returns to the links on Thursday at the Moravian Invitational to be played at the Southmoore Golf Course in Bath, Pa. starting at 12 p.m.
