The University of Scranton men's lacrosse game at Misericordia on Wednesday afternoon has been postponed due to the heavy snow that hit the area on Tuesday. A makeup date has yet to be announced.
This is the fourth game out of six this season that has been affected by weather. The Royals' opener against Muhlenberg on Feb. 25 was moved up an hour due to approaching inclement weather. The March 4 trip to Rochester Institute of Technology was pushed back a day due to cold weather.
And the March 11 game at SUNY Geneseo has yet to be rescheduled after being postponed due to cold weather. The teams are working on finalizing a date to makeup that game.
The Royals will return to action on Friday when they travel to Syracuse, N.Y. to take on SUNY Potsdam at 7 p.m. at Onandaga Community College.
