The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team can't escape the wrath that is winter's last gasp in the Northeast. For the fifth time in seven games, the Royals have had a game changed in some way due to the weather. This time, Friday's game against SUNY Potsdam in Syracuse, N.Y. has been rescheduled for March 28 in Scranton.
The Royals (2-2) will host SUNY Potsdam at 4 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Field on Tuesday, March 28, in the rescheduled game.
The men's lacrosse team still has two games to be rescheduled from the past week - the March 11 game at SUNY Geneseo and the March 15 game at Misericordia.
The Royals' season opener against Muhlenberg on Feb. 25 was moved ahead one hour due to inclement weather later that day. And their trip to Rochester, N.Y. to take on second-ranked RIT was pushed back a day to March 5 due to frigid temperatures.
