MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The University of Scranton and Morrisville State men's lacrosse teams have been ready to play each other for the last two days, but Mother Nature disrupted those plans as the non-conference game between the Royals and Mustangs has been postponed for a second time on Thursday due to higher than anticipated snow in upstate New York.
A makeup date for the game between Scranton and Morrisville State is yet to be determined.
The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday before being pushed back a day to Thursday with a winter storm moving into the region on Wednesday. That storm dumped enough snow to make the field unplayable for Thursday.
Scranton is next scheduled to host Montclair State on Saturday at Volpe Field. The non-conference matchup between the Royals and Red Hawks will start at 12 p.m. in Scranton.
