Dolan's six points, which came on three goals and three assists, matched a career-high offensive output for the senior while Killeen's five goals also tied a career-best.  Junior Connor Kirkwood (Millburn, N.J./St Peter's Prep) added four points on three goals and an assist while classmate Michael Elefonte (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) tallied three points on a goal and two helpers.

Scranton scored the first two goals of Monday's contest and held a 3-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.  Morrisville (2-5) tied the score twice in the second quarter, 3-3 and 4-4, but Dolan scored with 1:34 remaining in the period to give the Royals a 5-4 advantage at halftime.

Scranton netted the first two goals of the third period and outscored the Mustangs 3-2 in the quarter to take an 8-6 lead into the final 15 minutes of play.

The Royals scored twice in the first three minutes of the fourth frame, extending their lead to 10-6 before Morrisville used a three-goal run to cut their deficit to 10-9 with 6:14 remaining.

Back-to-back goals by Killeen quelled the Mustangs' push and gave the visitors a 12-9 cushion with 3:17 left on the clock.  Morrisville capped the scoring with 1:46 remaining as Scranton improve to 4-2 in away games this spring.

Freshman Steve Apicella (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) dished out a pair of assists for the Royals, who finished the afternoon with a 37-30 advantage in shots and a 30-29 edge in groundballs.

Sophomore Collin Purdy (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) led Scranton on face-offs, winning 16 of the game's 25 draws and picking up a game-high nine groundballs.

Sophomore goalkeeper Shayne Fallon (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) made nine saves to record his fourth win of the season in Scranton's cage.

The Royals went 18-for-23 on clears for the game and had one man-up goal in six extra-man opportunities in the contest.

Scranton resumes Landmark Conference play on Saturday when it hosts Goucher at Weiss Field.  The Royals will honor the team's four seniors prior to the opening face-off, which is set for 1 p.m.
