The University of Scranton men's soccer team is ranked 19th in the first National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division III Top 25 poll of the 2016 regular season, which was released by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

The Royals, who are also third in the NSCAA's Mid-Atlantic Rankings, are 4-0 on the year, marking the best start for a Scranton men's soccer team since 2012.

On the year, Scranton has yet to allow a goal on defense, while offensively, six different players have scored goals. In net, senior Eric Hintz (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor) has already made 13 saves, as the Royals are one of just nine teams in Division III not to allow a goal on the season.
