Sophomore goalie Jake Hodlofski (West Chester, Pa./Malvern Prep) was named Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

This marks the second career Landmark Conference weekly award for Hodlofski after he received the honor on Oct. 22, 2018.

The West Chester, Pa., native allowed just one goal in two games last week for the Royals who went 2-0 on the week with a 3-1 win at Drew and a 1-0 double overtime victory over Susquehanna. Hodlofski made two saves in the win at Drew and registered eight saves in the shutout of the River Hawks including a diving save in the 97th minute on a shot from Chris Naiman to keep the game scoreless.

On the season, Hodlofski leads the conference in save percentage (.851) and is tied for first in goals against (10), while ranking second in goals against average (0.68).

Scranton sits at 5-1 and in sole possession of second place in the conference standings with one regular season game remaining.

The Royals wrap up the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Juniata at 1 p.m.
