Senior Anna Price (Bordentown, N.J./Bordentown Regional) of The University of Scranton softball team was named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week on Monday, along with six other senior softball players from around the conference.
With the unprecedented cancellation of spring sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Landmark Conference will be recognizing an athlete from each member institution in each conference-sponsored spring sport for the remainder of the academic year. All honorees were nominated by their respective institutions.

Price, an infielder, ends her career as being a consistent contributor for Scranton over her career, as she saw action in 91 total games over her three-plus year tenure.
In 211 career at-bats, Price posted a .280 average with 59 hits, eight doubles and 35 RBI's. Scoring 19 runs, Price only struck out 10 times in her career, while also posting a .318 slugging percentage and a .300 on-base percentage.
In the field, Price ends her career posting a .988 fielding percentage, recording 388 putouts in 411 total chances. With 22 career assists, Price was also a part of 11 turned double plays during her career, seven of which happened during the 2018 season.
Price has been honored for her work in the classroom throughout her career at Scranton, earning a spot on the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll in each of the last two years. She will go on to earn a Nursing degree from The University of Scranton at the end of the semester and has already solidified a full-time position in the medical field after graduation.
