Junior Brianna Stein (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) led The University of Scranton women's golf team to a victory in the team's fall season finale on Sunday. As a result, she has been named the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week for women's golf.

Stein shot an 84 to lead the Royals to a 349-389 victory over Misericordia on Sunday at Scranton Municipal Golf Course in Mount Cobb, Pa. The victory capped a perfect fall season as the Royals went 8-0. The eight victories are tied for the most in the program's three-year history.

Stein's round of 84 was one shot off her career low, which she carded on Oct. 2 at Glenmaura National Golf Club in a tri-match against Marywood and Arcadia.

The women's golf team will resume its 2018-19 schedule during the spring semester.
