TUNKHANNOCK, Pa. - Sophomore Emma Nemitz (Moscow, Pa./North Pocono) posted the lowest score of the day with an 87, leading The University of Scranton women's golf team to a 372-384 win over Marywood on Saturday in a dual match contested at Stone Hedge Golf Club.

For Nemitz, the score of 87 was her lowest of the year, as she bested sophomore teammate Molly Lennon (Melville, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills East) by five shots to take medalist honors for the day, with Lennon carding a 92.

Rounding out the line-up for Scranton was senior Brianna Stein (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge), who posted a 96, and freshman Katie Pagano (Massapequa, N.Y. /Massapequa), who carded a 97.

The University of Scranton women's golf team returns to action on Sunday, as they travel to Irem Temple Country Club for a dual match against Misericordia. Tee-off is set for 1 p.m.
