Drew (8-6, 2-3 Landmark) sandwiched its first two goals of the game around two more tallies for the Royals before the hosts rattled off three straight goals to open up a 10-2 advantage with 6:41 left in the opening period.
The Rangers scored three of the final four goals of the first half to cut the Royals' lead to 11-5 at the break.
Scranton put to rest any hopes of a comeback bid by the visitors by scoring the first four goals of the second stanza to open up a 15-5 lead and would go on to outscore Drew 6-2 in the second half to close out the victory.
Elena Gallo (East Meadow, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) netted a hat trick for the Royals, Kate Calabro (Seaford, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) collected a goal and an assist, and Shannon Warburton (Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh) scored a pair of goals in the victory.
Calabro led all players with eight draw controls and had four ground balls, tying for a game-high with Windisch, Christine Olert (Katonah, N.Y./Somers), and Dana Siepietowski (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown Area).
Erin Putnam (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) made four saves in the first half to earn the win while Lauren Devlin (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) turned aside three shots in the second half for Scranton.
The Royals held a commanding 43-19 advantage in shots for the game while winning the ground ball battle 32-16 and holding a 15-13 edge in draw controls.
The hosts went a perfect, 21-for-21 on clears and forced Drew into 24 turnovers while committing just 14 of their own.
Scranton will visit Susquehanna on Saturday for its final away game of the regular season. Opening draw of the Landmark Conference meeting between the Royals and River Hawks is set for 1:00 p.m. in Selinsgrove, Pa.
