UPDATED: Women’s Soccer Earns NCAA Tournament Bid, Will Face Arcadia on Saturday at Christopher Newport

The University of Scranton women's soccer team has earned the opportunity to continue is outstanding season as the Royals received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament as the field was revealed on Monday afternoon. 

Scranton (15-1-3) which will be making its third straight and 18th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament, will take on Arcadia (12-5-3) in a first round match on Saturday at Christopher Newport University.  Opening kickoff between the Royals and Knights is set for 7:30 p.m. in Newport News, Virginia. 

Host Christopher Newport will take on Staten Island in Saturday's other first round matchup.  Saturday's winners will advance to the second round to be played on Sunday at 6 p.m. at Christopher Newport.
