SCRANTON - The University of Scranton women's tennis team won three matches in doubles play, then all six contested in singles to blank visiting Susquehanna, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon at Royal Courts in Landmark Conference play.
With the win, Scranton improved to 7-5 overall and 3-0 in the Landmark Conference.
The Royals, who have now won three matches in a row on the year, recorded their fourth shutout win of the season on the day. The shutout was also Scranton's second straight, as they blanked Goucher on the road last Sunday in Landmark play, as well.
The University of Scranton women's tennis team returns to the court on Sunday, as they take on Juniata in another home Landmark Conference match at Royal Courts. Action gets underway at 12 p.m.
