BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the second time this season, 40 minutes of regulation was not enough to determine a winner between The University of Scranton and Moravian College in Landmark Conference women's basketball action.  And for the second time, the #14 Lady Royals prevailed, topping the Greyhounds 75-70 on Wednesday evening to stretch their winning streak to 14 games and complete a challenging four-game road stretch unbeaten.

Moravian (13-6, 3-6 Landmark) held a 65-61 lead with 2:15 remaining in overtime before Katie Broderick (New Fairfield, Conn./New Fairfield) drilled back-to-back three-pointers to ignite a decisive 12-0 run that gave Scranton (19-1, 8-1 Landmark) a 73-65 lead with 14 seconds remaining as the Lady Royals would go on to secure their second straight victory decided by five or fewer points.

Bridgette Mann (Canadensis, Pa./Wallenpaupack) paced Scranton with 20 points and matched a career-high with eight rebounds. Katie Feehery (Media, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) totaled 14 points on 7-10 shooting while Makenzie Mason (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) added 13 points in the victory. Sofia Recupero (Whitestone, N.Y./St. Francis Prep) also reached double-figures with 10 points and blocked a career-best three shots for the Lady Royals.

The Greyhounds held a 13-12 edge at the end of the first quarter on Wednesday night, but Scranton opened the second stand with a 14-3 tear to go up 26-16 with 4:09 left in the period.  Moravian countered with an 11-2 surge to end the half to cut the visitor's lead to one point before Feehery hit a jumper at the buzzer to give the Lady Royals a 30-27 lead at halftime.

The teams swapped the lead five times in the third quarter with the Greyhounds holding a 43-39 leading heading into the final period of regulation.  The hosts extended the lead to six points early in the fourth quarter, but Scranton came back to take a 50-48 lead when Mann made a pair of free throws with 4:44 left on the clock.

Moravian went back in front on a three-point play with 40 seconds left in regulation before Feehery forced overtime with a layup with nine seconds remaining.

Emily Sheehan (Dunmore, Pa./Dunmore) tied for a game-high and also matched a career-high with five assists for Scranton, which shot 45.8 percent from the floor for the game while going 33.3 percent from three-point range and 75 percent from the free throw line.

Camille McPherson netted a game-high 25 points for Moravian while Nadine Ewald added 18 points in the loss.

The Lady Royals return home on Saturday to take on Juniata College in a Landmark Conference game starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Long Center.  Scranton will be looking to avenge its only loss of the season, a 62-54 setback to the Eagles on December 2.
