SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The University of Scranton women's track and field team registered several top-three finishes as the program competed at the SU Challenge hosted by Susquehanna University on Saturday.
Here are some of the highlights from Saturday's meet.
- Sophomore Lindsay Notarianni (Scranton, Pa./Scranton Prep) finished second in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 20:25.12.
- The Royals' 4x200 meter relay team of senior Chrissy Noonan (Baldwin, N.Y./Baldwin) and freshmen Jasmine Ahmed (Farmingville, N.Y./Sachem East), Fiona Burke (Exton, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) and Noelle Gonzalez (Harrington Park, N.J./Northern Valley-Old Tappan) finished second in a time of 1:58.57.
- Sophomore Jessica Hoffmann (Millington, N.J./Watchung Hills) took third in the one mile run with a time of 5:32.07.
- Sophomore Ally Maniscalco (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) finished third in the high jump with a height of 2.75m and classmate AnnMarie Onwuka (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh Free Academy) took third in the 400 meter dash in a time of 1:05.79.
- Junior Rachel Kerr (Archbald, Pa./Scranton Prep) was third in the 3,000 meter run in a time of 11:15.86.
The Royals return to action at the Blue & Orange Invitational and Multi that will be hosted by Utica College on Saturday, Feb. 8.
