LEWISBURG, Pa. – Sophomore Timothy Lanahan (Mendham, N.J./Mendham) posted a personal-best time of 1:56.34 in the 800 meters as the lone competitor for The University of Scranton men's track and field team on Day Two of the Bison Outdoor Classic that was hosted by Bucknell University.
Lanahan's time of 1:56.34 just eclipses his previous personal record of 1:57.11 that he ran last weekend at the Messiah Invitational.
He joins seniors Jessica Hoffmann (Millington, N.J./Watchung Hills) and Shane McKeon (Royersford, Pa./Pope John Paul II) along with freshman Samantha Hoffmann (Millington, N.J./Watchung Hills) as Royals who set new personal-best times in their respective events at this weekend's meet.
The four afore-mentioned names and the rest of the men's and women's track and field teams are back in action on Saturday, April 23 at the All-American Meet that will be hosted by East Stroudsburg University beginning at 10 a.m.
