Women's Swimming & Diving Cruises Past Elizabethtown, 192-69

SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton women's swimming & diving team posted a dominant 192-69 victory against Landmark Conference opponent Elizabethtown College on Saturday afternoon in the Byron Recreation Center.

With the win, the Royals improve to 5-3 on the season.

Top Performers

Alyssa Bean, Sami Roerig, Alanna Kelly and Kim Gingrass took first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:56.23.
Senior Aviah Dahlgren swam her way to victory in the 1,000 free as she clocked in at 10:58.09.
In the 200 free, freshman Olivia Thomas notched first place at 2:04.07.
Sophomore Katie Hosko claimed victory in the 50 back with a swim of 30.85.
Bean came in first in the 100 fly as she booked a 1:01.95.
In the 50 free, Kelly clocked in at 26.28 to earn first place.
Dahlgren posted her second individual win of the day in the 100 free with a time of 56.68.
Bean cruised to victory in the 100 back at 1:03.77.
Gingrass swam a 5:28.32 in the 500 free and finished first.
Bean claimed her third individual win of the day in the 50 fly at 28.61.
Graduate student Jaclyn Papalski came in first in the 200 IM with a swim of 2:24.10.
Scranton finished off the meet with a first place finish in the 400 free relay as the team of Gingrass, Dahlgren, Thomas and graduate student Marina Nunziato clocked in at 3:51.56.
