KING'S POINT, NY -- The University of Scranton women's swimming & diving team earned a 181-119 victory over the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Thursday afternoon.
With the win, the Royals move to 4-3 on the season.
Top Performers
- Kim Gingrass, Alanna Kelly, Alyssa Bean, and Aviah Dahlgren teamed up to take first place in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:12.97.
- Graduate student Jaclyn Papalski took first in the 1,000 free with a swim of 11:15.02.
- Bean claimed victory in the 200 fly at 2:20.89 and the 100 fly at 1:04.88.
- Senior Kristie Schieck notched first in the one meter dive with a score of 191.70.
- In the 100 free, Gingrass placed first with a time of 56.97.
- Dahlgren earned the win in the 500 free as she booked a 5:25.04.
- Junior Nicole Stofko earned 186.68 points in the three meter dive to claim victory.
- Gingrass, Kelly, Gianna Horen, and Nichole Koltsov capped off the victory with a first place finish in the 200 free relay at 1:47.15.
