SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton women's basketball team took down Goucher College 106-53 in Landmark Conference action on Saturday afternoon at the John Long Center.

How it Happened
- Junior Kaci Kranson scored the first 12 points of the game for Scranton and the Lady Royals held a 12-4 lead with just over six minutes remaining in the first period.Â
- Sophomore Elizabeth Bennett drilled a three at the 4:57 mark to put Scranton up 17-4 and force Goucher to call a timeout.Â
- Sophomore Natalie Stoupakis and graduate student Maddie Hartnett hit threes late in the opening period as Scranton held a 35-14 lead headed into the second.Â
- Scranton out scored Goucher 24-20 in the second period and held a 59-34 lead at halftime.Â
- Kranson forced a steal on Goucher's first possession of the second half and scored an easy lay up on the other end. The play sparked an 8-0 run for the Lady Royals.Â
- Scranton went on a 9-0 run midway through the third period to take a 36 point lead (78-42) with 1:51 remaining in the third quarter.
- The Lady Royals dominated the fourth quarter, out scoring the Gophers 26-9 to close out the win.Â

- Kranson dropped a game-high 25 points to go along with eight boards. This marks her third straight game scoring 25 or more.Â
- Bennett added 19 points and a season-high nine boards off the bench.Â
