SELINSGROVE, PA -- The University of Scranton women's track & field team broke seven school records and posted 38 top 10 performances in program history at the Jim Taylor Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University this weekend.

Top Performers

• Senior Samantha Hoffmann won the 3000m steeplechase and set a new school record with a time of 11:18.72.
• Junior Sam Sharrow broke the program record in the long jump with a first place finish of 5.75m. She also notched third in the 200m at 25.35 seconds.
• Sophomore Jocelyn Smith finished second in the 100m with a school record of 12.13 seconds. Smith also claimed second in the 200m with a program record of 25.03 seconds.
• Junior Emily Hopkins notched third in the 5000m with a time of 19:07.94.
• Freshman Kaia Grantham finished fourth in the 100m at 12.48 seconds.
• Junior Molly White set a new program record in the 100m hurdles and finished sixth at 15.67 seconds. White also took fourth in the high jump at 1.53m.
• Junior Gretchen Haray finished in a tie for fifth in the high jump at 1.48m. 
• The 4x100 relay team of Wendy De La Cruz Garcia, Kaia Grantham, Jocelyn Smith, and Sam Sharrow broke the school record and finished first at 48.30.
• In the 4x400 relay, Tasia Miniotis, Olivia Miller, Kelsey Myler, and Jocelyn Smith teamed up to set a school record of 4:01.80 and take second.
