Women's Track & Field Wins Misericordia Mid-Week

DALLAS, PA -- The University of Scranton women's track and field team took first place of 10 teams at the Misericordia Mid-Week Invitational on Tuesday.

Top Performers

Scranton took first in the 4x100 relay with a time of 48.35.
Isabella Santos and Alicia Acosta finished second and third respectively in the 100m hurdles with times of 16.92 and 17.24.
Isabella Delgado placed third in the 400m at 1:05.17.
Jocelyn Smith claimed victory in the 100m at 12.14, while Kaia Grantham finished third at 12.60.
Emma DiLemme placed second in the 800m with a time of 2:27.67.
Molly White, Kelsey Myler, and Alicia Acosta finished first, second, and third respectively in the 400m hurdles.
Smith also won the 200m at 25.47, while Olivia Miller finished third at 26.68.
Sam Sharrow won the long jump at 5.53m.
Elena Funk and Vinny McDonough notched second and third respectively in the high jump at 1.52m and 1.42m.

Up Next

The Royals will return to the track April 25-26 at the Blue Jay Tune-Up hosted by Elizabethtown College.
