SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton softball team was defeated in both games of a Landmark Conference doubleheader against Moravian University on Saturday.
The Basics

Game 1: Moravian - 10, Scranton - 0
How it Happened
- Moravian put up three runs in the top of the first on one hit.
- The Greyhounds continued to tack on runs with a double in the second, a home run and another double in the third, and a two-run homer in the sixth.
- The game ended by mercy rule in the sixth inning with a final score of 10-0.

- Junior Carley Noble recorded a season-high 4.0 innings pitched and a season-high four strikeouts.
Game 2: Moravian - 9, Scranton - 1
How it Happened
- Moravian got off to another quick start, scoring in each of the first three innings to take an early 8-0 lead.
- Sophomore Celia Totaro delivered an RBI single to left field in the bottom of the third that scored classmate Savannah Levine.
- The Greyhounds scored their ninth run in the fifth inning and ended the game by mercy rule, 9-1.
Top Performers
- Totaro went 1-3 with one RBI.
- Senior Kylie Rochford recorded a team-high two hits.
