SCRANTON, Pa. – The University of Scranton women's basketball team will host the sectional rounds of the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship next weekend at the John Long Center.

The Lady Royals will welcome Bates College, Johns Hopkins University and Concordia Moorhead to Scranton for Sweet 16 and Elite 8 action.

Sweet 16 games are set for Friday, March 13. Johns Hopkins (27-1) will face Concordia (25-4) at 4:30 p.m., followed by Scranton (29-0) against Bates (26-3) at 7:00 p.m.

The winners of Friday's contests will meet in the Elite 8 on Saturday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m., with a trip to the NCAA Final Four on the line.

Scranton enters the weekend unbeaten at 29-0 and will look to take advantage of its home-court edge in pursuit of a national semifinal berth. The Lady Royals earned hosting rights after advancing through the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament and will continue their postseason run in front of their home crowd.
