How it Happened
- Scranton scored the game's first run in the top of the first inning when Celia Totaro came home on a groundout by Gabriella Gorzkowski.
- The Royals added another run in the third after Emmie Feltenberger was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, forcing in a run to make it 2-0.
- Marywood answered with a bases loaded walk to trim the deficit to 2-1.
- In the fourth, Gorzkowski delivered a two-run single to stretch the lead to 4-1.
- Marywood responded with four runs in the bottom of the inning, using a sacrifice fly and two singles to move in front, 5-4.
- Meghan McDonnell tied the game in the sixth with a home run to left. Later in the inning, Gorzkowski drew a bases loaded walk to bring in a run, another run scored on a double play, Mollie Ferreira crossed the plate on a wild pitch, and Julia Vesey doubled home Totaro as Scranton built a 9-5 advantage.
- Ferreira drove in McDonnell in the seventh to extend the lead to 10-5, and Emma Douglas closed out the game with a scoreless inning as Scranton secured the win to end the season.
