Sophomore second baseman Matthew Gannon was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association's (ABCA) Region V All-Defensive Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday afternoon.

The 2026 ABCA NCAA Div. III Region All-Defensive teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-American & Coach of the Year Committee. View the full release here.

Gannon was one of the best fielders in the Landmark this season. He recorded a .992 fielding percentage this season, committing just one error while totaling 79 assists and helping turn 13 double plays from his position at second base.
