For the ninth consecutive year, The University of Scranton baseball team has been recognized for its excellence in the classroom, earning the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

The award recognizes high school and collegiate baseball programs whose student-athletes achieved a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the academic year. Scranton has now received the honor in each of the last nine years, continuing the program's longstanding commitment to success both on the field and in the classroom.
