The University of Scranton women's cross-country team finished third at the Kutztown DII/DIII Challenge, Saturday afternoon in Kutztown, PA. The Royals totaled 65 points and were the lone Division III competitor in the field.

Senior Kyrianna Nemitz led the Royals, placing second overall in the individual standings with a time of 22:50.7 on the 6k course. Freshman Aislinn Fennel finished 13th, clocking a time of 24:47.2. 
Scranton's top five was rounded out by:

• Kaitlyn Stibritz (15^th – 24:58.4)
• Helen Socorso (17^th - 25:04.1)
• Callie Gorman (25:11.3)

The Royals will return to action on Saturday, September 26 at the Lock Haven Invitational.
