Dr. Dzurec is an assistant professor in the Department of History and the Associate Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. He received his B.A. from Fairfield University in 1999, an M.A. in History from the University of Connecticut in 2002, and his Ph.D. in History from (THE) Ohio State University in 2008. Dr. Dzurec ran both cross country and track at Fairfield University, serving as co-captain for both teams during his senior year. Dr. Dzurec has continued his running since graduating from Fairfield and has completed 23 marathons in 18 different states over the past 15 years.
