Christina J. Gelso, M Ed, MA, OTR/L, CBIS has been an adjunct professor in the Graduate Education program since 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Marywood University, a Master of Education degree from Penn State University, and a Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University.
Christina has been a special education teacher and occupational therapist for over 25 years. Currently, she is an Educational Specialist employed by the Luzerne Intermediate Unit. Her work focuses on training and consultation in support of students with complex cognitive and physical needs, as well as traumatic brain injury. She is a Certified Trauma Competent Professional and Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
