Biography

Bio:  Three-year letterman...has started39 of 58 career games...has batted over .300 in each of the lasttwo seasons and enters his senior year with a career average of.324, with six doubles, two triples, and 33 RBI...provides depthand experience behind the plate...has thrown out 19 runners tryingto steal a base over the past three seasons...holds a careerfielding percentage of .955...will serve as team captain for theupcoming 2011 season with fellow seniors Jeff Manahan and ChrisStallone.

Junior Year (2010):  Started 22 of 27games...batted .319, with a double, two triples, and 16 RBI...hitsafely in 16 games and had five multi-hit games, including a 3-hiteffort in an 11-3 win over Susquehanna University on April 2 inSelinsgrove, Pennsylvania...drove in at least one run in 14 gamesand had two multi-RBI games:  in the aforementionedSusquehanna game and in a 12-9 loss to Catholic University on April24 in Washington, DC...hit safely in five of his first six games,batting .545 during this span (6-for-11)...shared the catchingduties with fellow junior Jeff Manahan...threw out eight runnerstrying to steal...handled 162 of his 169 chances defensively tofinish with a .959 fielding percentage.

Sophomore Year (2009):  Appeared in 19games, started 16 times, and batted a career-best .346, with threedoubles and 12 RBI...hit safely in 12 games, including fourmulti-hit games...had three hits, including a double, and drove inthree runs in a 24-6 victory over Baptist Bible on April 21 atConnell Park...also belted out three hits and drove in three runsin a 9-7 loss to the United States Merchant Marine Academy in thefirst of a three-game Landmark Conference series on April25...defensively, threw out a team-high eight base-runners tryingto steal...made only six errors defensively in 119 chances (.952fielding percentage).

Freshman Year (2008):  Appeared in 12games and started once (vs. Baptist Bible on April 25)...hit .267,with two doubles and five RBI...had three hits, including a pair ofdoubles, and drove in five runs in a 25-13 victory over BaptistBible on April 25...also had a hit and scored a run in an 18-2victory over Marywood on April 23...made only one error defensivelyin 26 chances to finish with a .962 fielding percentage...threw outthree base-runners trying to steal.
