Max Felsenstein

Felsenstein enters his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Royals in 2024. 

Felsenstein spent the 2023 season as an assistant coach and Athletic Events Coordinator at Stevens where the team went 27-16 overall and qualified for the MAC Freedom Tournament.

Prior to Stevens, the Glen Rock, N.J., native served as the Director of New Media and Sports Communications for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference from 2021-2022 after a stint as an Administrative Fellow with the conference office.

During his playing career, Felsenstein was a career .308 hitter over four seasons as an outfielder at Drew with 16 doubles, three triples, a home run, 60 RBI and 82 runs scored. He earned 2019 All-Landmark Second Team honors and was a three-time member of the conference's Academic Honor Roll.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts in English from Drew in 2020, Felsenstein went on to play his graduate student season at Canisius College and hit .286 with three RBI and 11 runs scored in 25 games for the Golden Griffins. He received his Masters of Science in Sports Administration from Canisius in 2021.
