Kirsten enters his first season as a volunteer assistant for the Royals in 2024.
A two-time All-Landmark Conference selection during his playing career with the Royals, Kirsten played in 103 games primarily as a shortstop and hit .321 with 17 doubles, seven triples, two home runs, 91 RBI, 25 stolen bases and 76 runs scored. He ranks tied for seventh all-time in triples and ninth in stolen bases.
Kirsten's 61 RBI in 2022 also marked a new single-season record.
The Wallenpaupack, Pa., native earned his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Scranton in 2022.
