Sophomore Year (2009):  Led pitching staffin appearances with 14 and was third in opposing batting average(.317)...his 14 appearances--all in relief--is the third highestsingle-season total in Royals' history...did not allow a hit orearned run in five appearances...earned the first save of hiscareer by inducing an infield fly with two runners in scoringposition to preserve an 11-8 victory over Catholic University inthe first game of a 7-inning doubleheader at Connell Park on April10...had twice as many strikeouts (10) than walks (5).

Freshman Year (2008):  Made nineappearances, eight of which came in relief...finished the seasonwith a 9.53 ERA in 17 innings of work...did not allow an earned runin three appearances and allowed two-or-fewer runs on two otheroccasions...made his first career start on April 25 and scatterednine hits while allowing five earned runs in picking up his firstcareer victory, a 25-13 win over Baptist Bible...struck out 11batters while allowing only four walks...did work an 1.1 inning ofrelief in the a 14-2 loss to regular-season champion JuniataCollege in an opening round game of the Landmark Conferencetournament May 2.
