Peter Blasi, a 2000 graduate of the University of Scranton with a degree in Biochemistry, returns to his alma mater as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s golf teams. A three-year varsity letter winner during his time on the Royals golf team from 1996 to 2000, Blasi brings both competitive experience and a deep connection to the program.
Following his undergraduate studies, Blasi earned a Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law and completed a visiting year at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where he focused on intellectual property law. He is a registered U.S. Patent Attorney and earned his MBA from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
Professionally, Blasi has worked in the intellectual property and scientific information & technology industries since 2007, serving in various client-facing sales roles. His analytical background and strategic mindset complement his coaching approach, helping student-athletes develop both on and off the course.
A member of the Wyoming Valley Country Club since 2017, Blasi remains an active golfer and passionate advocate for the game. His return to Scranton reflects his commitment to mentoring the next generation of Royal golfers.
