Bio: Has started 101 games over the lastthree years...two-time all-Landmark Conference and all-regionalselection...one of the most productive hitters in the program'shistory-is already first in doubles (33), tied for first in hits(135), second in RBI (100), third in batting average (.405), fourthin at-bats (333) and home runs (15), and seventh in runs scored(80) on the Royals's all-time list...strong physically, andprovides a big bat in the lineup...has hit safely in 81 games andhas 37 multi-hit games in her career...has improved her defensetremendously.
Junior Year (2010): Started 31games...led the Royals in hitting (.390), slugging percentage(.581), RBI (29), doubles (9), home runs (3), total bases (61), andtied for the team-lead in runs scored (22)...earned first-teamall-Landmark Conference honors in a vote conducted among theleague's head coaches and was named second-team all-East region bythe National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA)...hit safely in26 games, including 10 multi-hit games...also hit safely in 20 ofher final 21 games of the season...batted .484 (32 of 66) during aseason-long 19-game hitting streak from March 24 through May2...was named the Landmark Conference Player of the Week for theperiod ending Sunday, May 2, largely based on her performance inthe Royals's 4-2 victory over the Merchant Marine Academy in thesecond game of a Landmark Conference doubleheader played atMarywood University; in that game, hit a 3-run home run in thebottom of the third inning to give Scranton the lead for good andthe win locked up the number three seed for the conferencetournament...her 41 hits were the seventh highest single-seasontotal in Scranton history...drove in at least one run in 17 gamesand had eight multi-RBI games, including a season-high of four in a6-2 victory over Oswego St. on March 17 in Ft. Myers,Florida...belted two of her three home runs during the Royals'sSpring Break trip to Ft. Myers; hit one against Oswego St. and theother in a 7-2 loss to Roger Williams on March 17...had a combinedthree hits and drove in three runs in helping the Royals to a sweepof Susquehanna University in a Landmark Conference doubleheader onApril 24 in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania...committed a career-low fiveerrors in 145 chances defensively to finish with a career-best .966fielding percentage...finished sixth in batting average andslugging percentage, seventh in on-base percentage, eighth in RBI,and tied for eight in doubles in the final Landmark Conferencestatistical rankings.
Sophomore Year (2009): Started 29games...led the Royals in hitting (.400), slugging percentage(.653), on-base percentage (.462), runs scored (27), hits (38),doubles (12), and total bases...earned second-team all-LandmarkConference honors in a ballot conducted among the conference's headcoaches...her 12 doubles is tied for fourth most and her 38 hits istied for ninth on the Royals' single-season list...hit safely in 24of 29 games and had nine multi-hit games, including a five-hitperformance in a 7-6 victory in eight innings in the first of asweep of Baptist Bible College on March 30 at Tripp Park...batted.481 (13-for-27) during an eight-game hitting streak to open theseason...drove in at least one run in 13 games and had fivemulti-RBI games...belted a home run in wins over Hilbert on March15 and in losses to Penn State Hazleton on March 27, Catholic onApril 4, and Marywood on April 27.
First Year (2008): Had one of the mostproductive seasons ever by a freshman in Scranton history...set oneRoyal single-season record-most RBI (52)-and finished in the top 10in five other categories...led Royals in five statisticalcategories: batting average (.421), total bases (98),slugging percentage (.737), hits (56), RBI (52), and home runs(8)...was named first-team all-Eastern College Athletic Conference(ECAC) South region...set a Royal record for most RBI (52),breaking the former mark of 44 by Mary Tarantino in 1982...alsofinished in the top 10 in five other Scranton single-seasoncategories: hits (2nd, 56), home runs (2nd, 8), at-bats (3rd,133), doubles (4th, 12), and runs scored (tied for 7th, 31)...hitsafely in 31 games, including 18 multi-hit games...drove in atleast one run in 22 games, including 13 multi-RBI games...hit awalk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift theRoyals to a dramatic 12-11 victory over Catholic University in anopening round game of the Landmark Conference tournament...hadhitting streaks of eight and seven games...during her 8-gamehitting streak from April 8 through April 13, batted .593(16-for-27), with three doubles, two home runs, and 10 RBI...batted.440 (11-for-25) during a 7-game hitting streak from March 25 tothe first game of a doubleheader against Keystone on April 2...ledthe Landmark Conference in hits (56) and RBI (52); finished secondin batting average (.421), slugging percentage (.737), home runs(8) and total bases (98); fourth in doubles (12), total plateappearances (148), runs scored (31), and steal attempts (9); andtied for fifth in triples (3)...finished the season with a .942fielding percentage.
