Freshman Year (2018-19)
- Competed in two meets during his first season with the Royals
- Placed 21st in the mile run at the Marc Denault Invitational on Feb. 16
- Placed 27th in the 1500 at the Golden Ram Invitational on Mar. 23 and ran a leg on the 4x400 relay team that placed eighth at the meet

- Was a team captain for cross country

- Earned PHEAA Certificate of Merit in recognition of outstanding performance on SAC/ACT
- Named Ignatian Scholar (Scranton Prep Entrance Exam)
- Member of Special Jesuit Liberal Arts (SJLA) honors program
- Two-time Magna Cum Laude on National Latin Exam
- Son of Bill and Maripat Burke. His father, Bill, is the Royals' head cross country coach and assistant track & field coach and was an NCAA Championship qualifier during his running career (1982-85) at The University of Scranton. His mother graduated from Marywood University
- Also has three siblings, Billy, Jack, and Maeve.
- His older brother, Bill, ran for the Royals from 2011-14. Jack also plays baseball at The University of Scranton.
