Biography

  • Holds indoor school records in the 3,000 & 5,000 meters and outdoor school records in the 3,000 meter steeplechase and 5,000 meters
  • Member of indoor school record holding Distance Medley Relay team

Graduate Student Year (2022-23)

  • Ran distance events in seven meets and recorded a top-10 finish in six of the seven meets
  • Won gold in the 3,000 steeplechase at the Landmark Outdoor Championships (May 6-7) for a second consecutive year
  • Won gold in the 1,500 meters at the Coach P Invitational (Apr. 21-22)
  • Broke indoor program records in both the 3,000 & 5,000 meters

Senior Year (2021-22)

  • Competed in 13 meets for the Royals in primarily distance events
  • Registered 14 top-five finishes including nine individual event victories
  • Earned USTFCCCA All-Region accolades with a time of 9:20.17 in the 3,000 steeplechase at the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet (May 16)
  • Captured Landmark titles in both the mile at the indoor championships and the 3,000 steeplechase at the outdoor championships
  • Also finished third in the 1500 at the Landmark Outdoor Championships with a personal-best time of 4:01.16
  • Broke the outdoor program record in the 5,000 meters and finished third in the event at the Jim Taylor Invitational (Mar. 25-26)

Junior Year (2020-21)

  • Competed in four meets for the Royals during the outdoor season
  • Won three events on the year and added three other top-five finishes
  • Won the 3,000 meter steeplechase to kick off the season at the SU Easter Classic on Apr. 3
  • Set a new program record in the 5,000 meters (15:48.82) and won the event at the Greyhound Invitational on Apr. 10
  • Clocked a personal-best time in the 1500 at 4:13.63 and took first place at the River Hawk Classic (Apr. 17)

Sophomore Year (2019-20) (Outdoor season cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak)

  • Competed in six meets for the Royals and recorded a top-10 finish in each event
  • Won the 800 meters and the mile at the River Hawk Opener (Dec. 7)
  • Ran a personal-best time of 4:19.28 in the mile and won the event at the SU Challenge on Feb. 1; finished second in the 800 meters
  • Set a new program record in the 3,000 meters at the Blue and Orange Invitational & Multi with a time of 8:51.65 (Feb. 8)
  • Finished seventh in the 3,000 meters at the Landmark Conference Indoor Championships (Feb. 29)

Freshman Year (2018-19)

  • Competed in seven meets over the indoor and outdoor seasons during his first year at Scranton
  • Won the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 10:10.04 at the Golden Ram Invitational on Feb. 23
  • Won the 5000 meter run at the Monarch Open on Apr. 27 with a time of 16:03.23
  • Finished third at the Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships with a school and personal record time of 9:44.54

  • Has an older sister, Molly, and a younger brother, Drew. Molly competed in cross country and track & field at Monmouth University.
