Amanda Ross

Amanda Ross enters her first season as an Assistant Coach for the Royals in 2024. 

Her previous coaching experience includes serving as an assistant coach at Holy Cross High School in nearby Dunmore. 

Ross was a three-year member of the softball team as a pitcher at Kean University and appeared in five games for the Cougars who made an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2019. During their NCAA Tournament run, Kean recorded a pair of victories over Endicott College before eventually falling to Christopher Newport in the regional final.

In the classroom, she was a three-time NFCA Scholar-Athlete selection. 

Ross is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Widener University with an expected graduation date of May 2024. 

The Scranton native earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kean in 2021 and was a five-time Dean's List honoree.
